Arbeitstitel: "DCU: REBORN"

DCs Nachfolgeprojekt zu "BLACKEST NIGHT" wird eine 26 teilige Heft-Serie namens "BRIGHTEST DAY", die 14täglich erscheinen wird. Die # 0 erscheint kurz nach der Auslieferung von "BLACKEST NIGHT" # 8 (also ca. Anf. / Mitte April). Das Konzept der Serie ähnelt dem von "52"...

Einige (z.T. neu-startende) DC-Titel werden zwar ebenfalls ein "Brightest Day"-Banner tragen, aber zum Verständnis der "Haupt"-Serie nicht unbedingt nötig sein. (Zu den Titeln mit "BD"-Banner gehören (verständlicherweise) "Green Lantern", Green Lantern Corps", aber auch der neue Barry Allen "Flash", die "Titans" sowie die "Justice League".)

Geschrieben wird "BRIGHTEST DAY" von Geoff Johns und Peter Tomasi.
Artwork von Fernando Parasin (z.B. "Outsiders" u.a.), ALLE Cover des 26teilers kommen vom (frisch von Marvel abgeworbenen) David Finch, der ab sofort exklusiv für DC arbeiten wird.

DC verspricht auf seiner "THE SOURCE" aktuelle News hierzu (täglich, bis zum Ende der Woche). Außerdem hat Entertainment-Website "IGN" ein ausführliches exklusives Interview hierzu mit Autor Geoff Johns sowie einen interessanten Essay über "Brightest Day"!

UPDATE: Die renommierte Tageszeitung "The New York Times" stellt ihren Lesern Autor Geoff Johns und seine Projekte vor (wie etwa "Flash", die Kino-Filmversionen von "Green Lantern" und "Captain Marvel / Shazam!" oder "Smallville: Absolute Justice")!

Die "kreativen Differenzen" zwischen dem Studio SONY Pictures und Regisseur Sam Raimi und "Peter Parker / Spidey" -Darsteller Tobey Maguire wegen der inhaltlichen Ausrichtung des nächsten SPIDER-MAN -Spielfilms (Teil 4) haben ihren (vorläufigen) Höhepunkt erreicht:

Sowohl Raimi wie auch Maguire werden bei künftigen Spider-Man movies nicht mehr mit dabei sein; stattdessen kündigt das produzierende Studio an, das komplette Spidey-Kino-Franchise neu zu starten - heißt: im nächsten Film wird Peter Parker wieder Highschool-Schüler sein und alle Charaktere jünger. Wesentlich mehr und ausführlicher geht's HIER weiter...
