Größter Gewinner der am vergangenen Wochenende verliehenen "2020 Eisner Awards" war der Verlag Dark Horse Comics, der gleich in drei Kategorien Preise abräumte.
Drawn & Quarterly, Fantagraphics Books, First Second Books, IDW Publishing/Top Shelf Productions, Image Comics sowie VIZ Media durften sich über jeweils zwei Auszeichnungen freuen.
In diesem Jahr erhielten weder DC Comics, noch die zum Disney-Konzern gehörenden Marvel Comics und BOOM! Studios eine Auszeichnung.
(Nicht mitgerechnet sind hier Preise, die an Künstler selbst gingen, auch wenn sie bei genannten Verlagen veröffentlichten.)
Die Awards wurden diesmal, aufgrund der Pandemie, in einer Virtuellen Zeremonie verliehen, die am 24. Juli auch live im web zu sehen war.
