"2018 Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards" - die Nominierungen...



Die Nominierungen für die "Oscars" der US-Comic-Branche, die "2018 Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards", wurden bekanntgegeben.


Fantagraphics' My Favorite Thing Is Monsters von Emil Ferris sowie Image’s Monstress von Marjorie Liu und Sana Takeda erhielten beide Nominierungen in jeweils fünf Kategorien.

DC’s Mister Miracle und die Neuinterpretation der Flintstones sind in jeweils drei Kategorien nomiert worden.



Fantagraphics und Image führen die Verlage mit den jeweils meisten Nominierungen an (16 bzw. 13)!
Marvel ist auch in diesem Jahr wieder für Hefte / Serien nominiert worden, die der Verlag inzwischen längt wieder abgebrochen bzw. eingestellt hat (so wurde "Black Panther: World Of Wakanda" noch vor Auslieferung der #1 von der ongoing zur "limited series" reduziert, nomierte Titel wie etwa "Black Bolt" oder "Hawkeye" sind zügig eingestellt worden usw.)


Die Gewinner werden am Abend der "Eisner Award Gala" auf der "San Diego Comic-Con", am Freitag, 20. Juli feierlich bekanntgegeben.
