"EISNER AWARDS 2013" - Die Nominierungen!

Die Nominierungen der EISNER AWARDS wurden bekanntgegeben. 

Während Marvel und DC im vergangenen Jahr noch eine gleich hohe Anzahl Nominierungen einheimsten (nachdem zuvor DC Comics über Jahrzehnte hinweg die Nase vor Marvel hatte), ist es in diesem Jahr erstmals umgekehrt:

DC erhält popelige 2 Nominierungen (was auch als Beleg für die zwiespältige "Qualität" vieler "NEW 52"- Serien gelten kann), MARVEL hingegen 7 -!- (davon allein fünf für deren exzellente "Hawkeye" -Heftchen-Serie!).
Chris Ware’s "Building Stories" sowie Ed Brubaker & Sean Phillips’ "Fatale" nnen sich ebenfalls über eine hohe Zahl an Nominierungen erfreuen (6). 
"Adventure Time", "Bandette" und "You’ll Never Know: A Soldier’s Heart" erhielten je 4 Nominierungen.

Verlag "Fantagraphics" erhielt vierundzwanzig (24 -!-) Nominierungen, gefolgt von "Image Comics" mit 17.

"IDW" und "Pantheon" schlagen  "Marvel" knapp mit je acht Nominierungen. Die Verlage "Dark Horse", "Drawn & Quarterly", "BOOM!", "Monkeybrain", "Nobrow", "Abrams ComicArts" sowie ein halbes Dutzend weitere erhielten jeweils mehr Nominierungen als DC COMICS (2) ! Das sollte der bisher bei den EISNERS erfolgsverwöhnten DC Führung zu denken geben (immerhin war DC in den vergangenen Jahren,  gemeinsam mit Fantagraphics, i.d.R. einer der Verlage mit den meisten Nominierungen!).

Wer aufmerksam die diesjährige Liste studiert, dem wird auch auffallen, das die Rubrik "Best Limited Series" weggefallen ist; dafür gibt es aber wieder Nominierungen bzw. Preise in den Sektionen
"Best New Series", "Best Adaptation from Another Medium" sowie "Best Painter/Multimedia Artist".
 ...auf der offiziellen website der EISNER AWARDS (bzw. der "San Diego Comic Con") findet ihr nicht nur die komplette Übersicht aller Nominierungen in allen Kategorien, die Vorstellung des diesjährigen Comic-Experten-Kommitees, Hintergrundinfos zur 25jährigen Geschichte  des wohl renomiertesten Preises der Comic- Branche u.v.m.
Die Preisverleihung selbst findet wie in jedem Jahr im Rahmen eines Gala-Abends während der "San Diego Comic Con" statt...
