"Diamond Comic Distributors, the world’s largest distributor of English-language comic books, graphic novels, and related pop-culture merchandise, today announced it has signed a special distribution agreement with Cryptozoic Entertainment to exclusively distribute The Walking Dead Board Game to the book market worldwide.
Founded in March 2010, Cryptozoic Entertainment has been dedicated since its inception to the motto “Fans First.” Most renowned for its manufacturing of the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game, Cryptozoic also publishes comics, games, and other trading cards. Their latest offering is The Walking Dead Board Game, based upon author Robert Kirkman’s bestselling comic book and AMC TV-series, The Walking Dead.
In the game, players will have to stay safe while at the same time scouring Atlanta for supplies and protecting their loved ones. Should they fail, they return as zombies and the new objective is to make the other players zombies, too.
